Use of the service
Column ByteClue provides an Excel formula assistant. Use only data you are authorized to process. Do not submit unlawful content, attempt to obtain secrets, bypass usage limits or interfere with the service. Do not treat a generated formula as professional advice.
Free allowance and availability
The current model is free limited use plus advertising, with no paid subscription. Each public IP has a shared allowance of five successful AI requests per UTC day. Screenshot recognition, generation, repair and explanation each use one request; recognition followed by generation uses two. Failed requests are refunded. A clarification response is a successful request. Shared office or household IP addresses share the allowance. A separate site-wide capacity limit can also pause requests.
Review before use
AI can misunderstand requirements or return an incorrect formula. We check basic structure and known compatibility rules; we do not execute formulas in Excel. Verify ranges, worksheet names, versions and representative results in your own file. Keep a backup before changing an important workbook.
Ownership and availability
Submitting content does not transfer your existing rights to us. Provider terms may also apply to AI output. Do not assume an output is unique or appropriate for every purpose. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular calculation result or permanent storage. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
