FAQ & limits

One public IP shares five successful requests per UTC day. Recognizing an image and generating a formula are two requests. Repair and explanation use the same pool. Failed requests are refunded, but a request asking for clarification counts. The allowance resets at midnight UTC; a shared network shares the limit.

How are the five requests counted?

One public IP shares five successful requests per UTC day. Recognizing an image and generating a formula are two requests. Repair and explanation use the same pool. Failed requests are refunded, but a request asking for clarification counts. The allowance resets at midnight UTC; a shared network shares the limit.

What file limits apply?

XLSX: up to 10 MB compressed, 50 MB expanded, 20 sheets and 100,000 cells. The local preview shows up to 100 rows and 30 columns per sheet. CSV currently supports UTF-8 files up to 100 KB. AI receives at most three confirmed sheet samples of 20 rows and 30 columns, plus their actual ranges.

What about screenshots and dates?

PNG, JPEG and WebP images are limited to 8 MB and 16 million pixels. Check recognized values and coordinates yourself. XLSX dates may be shown as their underlying Excel serial numbers. Formula cells show saved cache values, not fresh calculations. Macros and external workbook links are not executed.

Is the formula guaranteed to work?

No. The service does not run Excel. Select the correct version and separator, use the real worksheet name and start cell, then test the result in a copy of your workbook. You can report an error with a minimal anonymized example.

Is there an account or payment?

There is currently no account, subscription or checkout flow. The free service is supported by advertising. The workspace is not saved when the page is refreshed. Copy the result before leaving.
